Stabled between duties in one of the centre roads at Carlisle is Class 143 No. 143321. These units started their railway careers in the North East but they have since all been transferred for work in the South Wales valleys.Previous | NextClass 56 No 56114 is providing all the braking power for these vacuum braked hoppers. Loading is taking place at the Alcan Terminal in Blyth and the product is Alluminium Ore which will be transported to Lynemouth for smelting later in the day. August 1991.
